Sea Maiden
The sea maiden is worked on stretched
transparent synthetic organza with silks
and metallic couching cord, embellished
with glass beads.
The tail has been stump worked simply,
in a way suitable for organza, giving the
design a 3 dimensional look.
Suitable for medium to experienced stitchers.
The class will cover the stitching of the
sea maiden and the principles of
organza embroidery.

This embroidery takes a simple piece of
scrapbooking paper and transforms it into
a beautiful dimensional piece of embroidery.‘Shadows of Blue’ covers a lot of your
embroidery stitches including stumpwork
and raised embroidery as well as a variety of
ribbon embroidery techniques with a little
beading to finish it off.

Putting on the Ritz
Catherine has designed this unique 1930s scene, with ladies and gentleman waiting outside the Ritz. Learn to embellish Catherine’s drawn design onto cream homespun by stitching pleated taffeta ribbons, braids and other luxury ribbons onto the ladies dresses. This unique new technique will remind you of days when we used to make dresses for that favourite doll growing up as a young girls. The picture is finished off with button handbags and some simple beading.

Jan Kerton
We have invited Jan to teach us her exquisite form of stumpwork. Jan’s method is wirefree and uses a fine silk mesh to produce tiny flowers and butterflies etc. There will be several kits to choose from all of which will be in store soon.
